Prosperity @ a Glance (Pt1)

By Joseph AKINOLA

OBEDIENCE
Isaiah 1:19
Obedience: This is the act of ‘doing as told’.

Obedience is the vital key that unlocks the door to Unlimited Greatness and Immeasurable Abundance.

It is through genuine obedience to the Word of God that every believer can tap into the hidden resources that had been made available to him and also connect to unseen treasures of the Almighty.

Blessings and prosperity doesn’t come from east, west nor south but from God Almighty (Psalm 75:6), and to access that blessing, you will need to go through the gate Obedience without any compromise. In order to enter into your land of rest and eat the fruit in it, Obedience is the Key (Isaiah 1:19).

The Bible says in John 2:5, “…Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it”.

Until you do whatsoever you are instructed to do towards your prosperity, breakthrough, success, you can never obtain a meaningful result nor attain a top position/place in life.

Know that every Instruction comes with Unction – the unction to prosper you – if you follow it to the latter.

The Word of God is for Reproof and Exhortation meant to drive you if only you are willing to follow it – to the land of Milk and Honey.

Types of Obedience
1. No Obedience
2. Partial Obedience. 1 Kings 13:1-29.

1 Samuel 15:22
“And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the
voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.”

Partial obedience leads to Untimely Death; untimely death both of one’s business, career, marriage and destiny.

Partial obedience cuts believer’s destiny short.

Partial obedience ceases the flow of God’s grace upon a man’s life.

It terminates or brings to a hold the plans and purpose of God on a believer’s life except he quickly realizes his error and asks for the mercy of God.

3. Total Obedience. John 2:5; Luke 5:4-5

John 2:5 “His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.”

Luke 5:4-5 “Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. 5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.”

Total obedience is the obedience of “…Nevertheless at thy word…”

The reason why many refuse to obey God (fully) is because they have alternatives. The fellows in the Scriptures above had no alternatives than to do what was instructed; because it is only the miracle of God through obedience can they succeed in their ongoing projects.

Note that no tangible and lasting result can be guaranteed outside what both God and His Word is saying.

Tips
Your Blessing is HID in your Obedience.
Your Blessing is HINGED/ATTACHED to your obedience.

  Further Reading: Psalm 1:1-3
"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."
