HELP YOURSELF
Anchor Scripture: Jeremiah 6:16
“…And Walk Therein…”
In the quest to achieving success, the ‘Helping Yourself’ phase is very critical before you get your desired result.
Until you resolve within yourself to help yourself, you will never be able to harvest the goodies God had made ready for you. Because God will not do for you what you can do for yourself.
James 1:23-27.
"23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world."
How To Help Yourself
Be the Doer of what you have Learnt – James 1:23 .
See the Word of God as your Daily Mirror to put yourself on Check – James 1:23b.
Prayerfully fight against NEGLIGENCE – James 1:24.
Live the Word (live your life based on what the Bible teaches) – James 1:25.
Watch what you SAY – (too much and negative words destroy), or else you might not get your desired results – James1:26.
Righteousness: This gives you a Right Stand with God – James 1:27a.
Help Others – James 1:27b.
Note that each time you help other people, you are not helping them in the real sense, you are helping yourself and the generations to come after you.
Tip
If you want to lead people; raise people, when they are raised, they will need a guide and this is when your leading will be needed.

Anchor Scripture: Jeremiah 6:16, Proverbs 14:12, Proverbs 16:25, Joshua1:8
Success in life has different meaning to different folks / individuals. There are the right success and the wrong success; the good and the bad, the positive success/achievement and the negative.
To succeed in life, there are ways/routes and things one needs to search out, discover, embrace, follow and engage.
The good ways are the lessons from both your success/life journey and other people.
What you learn from Lessons are, ‘how it worked’, ‘what worked’ and ‘what could be done – Creativity’.
What you learn from experiences are, ‘how not to do a thing’ and ‘how it went/worked’.
Lessons cannot be acquired without research. Lessons can never be obtained without submission – to learn. Lessons cannot be acquired without Conscious and Thorough study both in the Word of God, study in the field of your expertise and study about the dynamics of what / which project you want to execute Joshua 1:8.
In order to acquire lessons, there must be a Disciplined Meditation both on the Word of God and about the project you’re working on.
Thoughts On This Formula
- When you meditate, what you meditate over enlarges and becomes broaden to you. When you meditate, what you meditate on gets engraved on the tablet of your heart acting as an instruction/guide, causing you to remain focus, bold and clear about your vision/project.
- Meditation gives birth to Medications. Meditation provokes Results. Regular Meditation causes you to be Creative and Innovative in whatever you do.
- Each time you Meditate, you birth the Solution to the problem/challenges at hand/at sight/view.
Action Line
- Have a Lesson Book; where you write your lesson about life, both your personal lessons and the ones from people around.
- Meditate regularly both on the Word of God and about your business/vision/project/proposals.
- Get to work immediately you get a medication (the ‘how to do it’) before you engage on the ‘Analysis that Leads to the Paralysis’ of the vision/projects.

Open Your Eyes, Ears And Mind To Opportunities
Anchor Scripture: Jeremiah 6:16“…. See……..”
What do you see? What can you see? - (Your Seeing Ability is your Possessing Capacity) Jeremiah 1:11-13, Rom. 10:17. It is how you open your eyes that will determine what you see.
What do you See?
Thoughts For The Week
- How you stand will greatly influence what you see Part 1 (Stand).
- Where and who you stand with will immeasurably catapult you to where your destination is Part 2 (In The Ways). {Your Association Initiates Your Acceleration}
- What you See and the Size (how you see it) will beyond measure change your orientation and disposition about life; How You See life and ultimately your attitude towards life. All these will culminate in making you an enviable personality and a point of reference in your area of endeavor.
- Explore every available opportunity that comes your way with Discernment.
- Don’t forget that “An open eye with the eagerness to learn what there is to know about develops the mind into achieving success, excellence and peak performance”.
Proverbs 20:13 says, “… Open Thine Eyes, And Thou Shalt Be Satisfied With Bread”.
Your satisfaction comes only from what you see (both the present & the future, the physical and the spiritual), how you see (the distance and angle), when you see (the timing) and how you work on what you see.

CONSISTENCY
Anchor Scripture: Jeremiah 6:16
“Thus saith the Lord, stand in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and you shall find rest for your souls. But they said. We will not walk therein.”
Consistency
“Thus says the Lord, stand……”
Success in life is traceable to some vital keys & instructions which when adhere to & embraced, make one out-shine his peers, colleagues and competition in whatever a man does.
The place of success/the need for success in a Christian’s life is the beginning of all attainment as far as God is concerned – Joshua 1:8. “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
Success is a place/level of rest, accomplishment; success is the least of all attainment level in what God programmed for mankind. To succeed, there is a great need to find a Vision and Walk Consistently In It.
In our anchor Scripture, Jeremiah 6:16, it says, “Stand you in the ways…”
To Stand means to be Consistent, Focused, to Concentrate, Remain in; it means to really Soak oneself into whatsoever one is doing.
Habakkuk 2:2-3, Consistency brings Unending Attainment.
WHERE ARE YOUR STANDING?
ARE YOU REALLY STANDING RIGHT?
FOR WHAT REASON ARE YOU STANDING?
Until you answer the above questions about your Vision and your plans, vision, plans and projects will remain on hold!
Habakkuk 2:3 says, “…though it tarries, wait for it….”.
